Comfort Station is a small cultural center in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood. It provides free programming in the forms of exhibits, concerts, film screenings, lectures, and other community events. With this International Connections Fund award, Comfort Station collaborates with Brazil’s Projecto Ativa to create exhibitions, host live performances, activate local spaces, and explore themes of the African diaspora and contemporary Latin American identity.
