Fiscal Management Associates (FMA) is a for-profit consulting firm that helps nonprofits strengthen their financial and operational health, enabling them to fulfill their missions. Organizations, especially those working in communities of color or with traditionally marginalized populations, identify strengthening their financial health as a priority. This award supports an FMA capacity building initiative over 18 months for a subset of MacArthur's Chicago Commitment grantees, specifically those that received Community Capital awards. Through a mix of training, coaching, peer learning, and individualized consulting, this capacity building initiative sets organizations on the path to financial resilience.
