The 2024 U.S. election is critical for issues impacting Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. MacArthur grantee AAPI Civic Engagement Fund announced they awarded five AAPI artists the Creative Catalyst Fellowship to use their art to support civic engagement in the AAPI community in 2024. Across three themes – Voting Together, Solidarity, and Belonging – and media that include short videos, music, poetry, and multimedia art they will help bring audiences in through education, dialogue, and getting out the vote.
